Understanding the Attributes: Overall College Assessment

Overall College Assessment

Alumni were given three statements regarding their current view of their college and were asked the extent to which they agreed or disagreed with each statement.

1. Do they wish they had gone to another college (would they choose to attend their college again)?

2. Was their education worth the money they paid?

3. Would they recommend their school to a prospective student today?

These assessments hold significant value for the colleges themselves, as they indicate whether or not their alumni think they are currently on the right track. This chapter details which colleges are best at maintaining strong alignment with their graduates on these and other critical issues.
