Overview

Sometimes it pays to be number two. Trinity College is the second oldest college in Connecticut (behind Yale) and has a reputation of being second choice, or backup school, to Yale for many talented and striving individuals. That competitive rivalry appears to drive Trinity grads to astonishing financial success and a level of professional accomplishment any other school would covet. A little Yale envy can go a long way.
