Overview
Wheaton is a liberal arts college of 1600 students known for its flexibility, diversity, and liberal view of the world. The school goes back to the 1830s and until 1988 was a women’s college. Wheaton students are bright and adhere to a unique Honor Code, allowing tests to be taken without proctors. Classes are small, as is the student-to-faculty ratio. In addition, Wheaton has been very successful in terms of sports, which is especially impressive considering the school’s small size.
